In a surprising partnership that challenges traditional expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the official release, "A strange meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine cult.

The adventure focuses on "bizarre trials and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will acquire an exclusive katana together with numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
